Judaism University - Fall 2011 Offerings

(1.) Course Title: The Literary Genius of the Bible (Bible as Literature)

Instructor: Gabriel Lampert
Location: B'nai Emunah
Donation: $36
We have looked to the Hebrew Bible, our Tana"kh, to find lessons on how to live, and role models to follow. Or we have argued with those stories. But usually we have not paid attention to their literary merits -- why are the stories fun? All are welcome to explore our ancient source material in a fresh way.
See the course description in the Lehrhaus Judaica catalog.
