Our Vision
- We aim to be the most diverse, dynamic, and open San Francisco Bay Area synagogue, balancing the needs of tradition and innovation. We welcome a broad spectrum of people (young and old, families and singles, all sexual orientations and ethnic backgrounds, Jews-by-choice, interfaith families, and those rediscovering their faith) into one caring and supportive Jewish community.

Our Story
We were founded in 1949 by German-speaking Jews, many of whom spent WW II in Japanese-occupied Shanghai.
Today, we are about 100 family units with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
We are affiliated with the Conservative Movement.
