Volunteering at the Food Bank
A group of volunteers from B'nai Emunah come to the San Francisco Food Bank on the last Sunday morning every month, as part of the food bank's Apple Core Program.
There's work for all ages, even for a four years old. We do whatever needs to be done, including sorting cans and bagging macaroni. Everyone can help with the Food Bank's mission to feed the hungry.

Our Story
We were founded in 1949 by German-speaking Jews, many of whom spent WW II in Japanese-occupied Shanghai.
Today, we are about 100 family units with diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
We are affiliated with the Conservative Movement.
