Friday, January 27, 2012 - 7:00pm - 9:45pm

Congregation B'nai Emunah
3595 Taraval Street @ 46th Avenue
San Francisco CA 94116

Everyone is welcome.  Please bring a dairy, vegetarian, or fish (with fins and scales) dish to share.  These are our kashrut guidelines.

Led by:
Rabbi Mark Melamut

Please join us at the synagogue at 7PM for Friday Evening Services followed by a dairy-vegetarian potluck.

Friday Evening Services begin at 7 PM and last approximately one hour.  The service features communal singing, inspiring readings, and silent prayer, affording us a chance to leave the work-week behind.  There may be a brief story of word of Torah.

After services the congregation moves into the Social Hall and is seated at long tables.  We chant Kiddush and HaMotzi together, and we sing about half a dozen songs chosen by congregants.  A potluck meal follows, and the evening concludes with the chanting of Grace After Meals and some semi-spontaneous dancing.
