Rosh HaShanah Morning Service - Day 1

Tickets are required for this service.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Please join us for Rosh HaShannah morning services.  Rabbi Mark and Cantor Linda will lead services and the choir will sing.  

The Rosh HaShanah Morning Service is both beautiful and intense. Here is a brief outline of the main service.

  • Preliminary and Morning Service - Led by Rabbi Mark and Jeff Dielle
  • Torah Service - Torah Reading by B J Knobloch with blessings by Cantor Linda (while Rabbi Mark is leading the Famly Service)
  • Family Service at 10 AM - Led by Rabbi Mark
  • Shofar Sounding
  • President's State of the Synagogue Address - Given by Sharon Bleviss
  • Sermon - Given by Rabbi Mark
  • Musaf Service - Led by Rabbi Mark, Cantor and the choir

Following services, there will be a light kiddush of apples, honey, and cake.

Following the kiddush, at approximately 2:30 PM, we will walk down Taraval Street to Ocean Beach for our Tashlich Service.
